Clearly Agile Conducts Successful Training on SAFe for Teams for Louisiana Department of Health

January 7, 2020 – Clearly Agile is excited to share about our successful two-day training on SAFe for Teams for the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH). On Monday, January 6th and Tuesday, January 7th, we provided training and workshops for LDH staff on how to build the necessary skills to achieve high-performance and effective collaboration as a team member of an Agile Release Train (ART) by becoming a SAFe 5 Practitioner.

This training demonstrates Louisiana Department of Health’s innovation and dedication to business agility and effective teamwork. LDH is the first agency in Louisiana to attain this new knowledge. The SAFe for Teams certification enables attendees to effectively perform their roles using Scrum, Kanban, and XP.

This two-day training enables attendees to achieve an in-depth understanding of the value of using ART and how to effectively use Agile/Lean tools such as Scrum, Kanban, and XP. In addition, it teaches about the continuous delivery pipeline and DevOps culture, to increase the effectiveness of teamwork. With this training LDH will be better able to make quicker decisions and align the right people to do the work necessary to capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Jonathan Jenkins, Clearly Agile CEO and Chief Methodologist, successfully facilitated the training, providing attendees critical information on business agility, combining his knowledge of SAFe, Scrum Masters 5.0 and years of experience helping large organizations exploit Agile, Lean, and Scrum.

Attendees commented on how helpful this training was. Participants stated the training was informative, classic, insightful, and engaging. Attendees left feeling confident in their ability to be an effective SAFe 5 Practitioner.
